Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
You're not a fruit cake, Aims. Those sound like completely normal concerns. And if he is Dr. McJudgeyPants, you need to go to a different doc.
Also, I agree that Tom's spring program is SEX-AY.
(My crank is exacerbated by the fact that I have been sick for the last two days with the urp. FWIW)
I hear birds, too. And my cat snoring from five feet away. Oh, cat snores.
Ok, I am going to say something positive!!
Um. Er.
I no longer feel naseuous? I like...
Um.
Blankets?
What did you write it in?
I wrote it in perl, but here's the JavaScript version:
var today = new Date()
var span = 1269106320000 - today.getTime();
var days = span / 1000 / 60 / 60 / 24;
var hours = (days - Math.floor(days)) * 24;
var minutes = (hours - Math.floor(hours)) * 60;
document.write(Math.floor(days), " days ",Math.floor(hours), " hours ",
Math.floor(minutes), " minutes until spring.");
It's good to hear from you, Jessica. I've been thinking about you. I hope someone here can answer your questions, because googling is confusing. In aggregate, searching seems to say no tub baths for 1) three days 2) until after your next period 3) six weeks. At various times I've not been able to take a bath and have found that having a spray attachment on the shower to be a big help. At least I could sit on the side of the tub and get sort of clean.
I'm still fighting a headache that's either a tension headache, eyestrain or sinus something. It's not a bad headache; it just will not go away. Trepanning is beginning to look more and more like a reasonable option. The headache was not helped by the fact that it took me three hours of waiting spread over three days to get one fucking prescription.
eta: I don't need a program to tell me when spring starts. Pitchers and catchers reported today.
Need nap. Send cot. Dinner break is in 30ish minutes. Then we come back and work until 10pm. Not too bad. But still. Tired. And cold. Dallas shouldn't be this cold, this long. I know you northern mid-western-folk do not want to hear about me complaining about 30-45º weather. But, that is cold for me! Brrrr. Still have blood set to "California".
I wrote it in perl, but here's the JavaScript version:
Cool!
What I found after my miscarriage (at 16 or more weeks, so it did quite a bit of damage, though again, I didn't have to get either procedure), was that sitting on something was difficult as well. I don't think I could've handled the edge of the tub.
Honestly, ChiKat's right, this winter's been okay. Great compared to last year, when it was so gray and damp. At least this year we've had sun. I don't really mind the cold, but the gray about killed me - lasted all year really, not just winter. Already, it's looking so much better.
Also, Tom is awesome.
Also, I can't believe I'm this tipsy this early in the afternoon. And that what I keep having to edit posts for is punctuation.
Huh. Phone is telling me it's 59 but feels like 51. I haven't made it outside since this morning, so I can't tell you for sure.
It was only supposed to be in the 30s today, but it made it to the 40s for a bit. Yay!
{{Aims}} I am sure the doctor will see you as a loving and concerned parent.
Jessica, you remain in my thoughts with tons of healing vibes sent your way. Take your time and take care of yourself. Let your loved ones do for you. A bunch of loving thoughts sent to E as well.
