I wonder if the improper behavior had anything to do with the computer (i.e. looking at porn), or they saw something on the webcam.
An article I read said they had a picture of the student, so it must be on the webcam. Which is horrifying and so so very wrong. I can't even process how they thought it was okay to do that.

Yeah, that's just wrong on so many levels, and I am so dismayed there wasn't someone who stopped along the way and said "what we want to do is wrong". I mean fer chrissake people!! I think it's a little creepy to do that to the students in class, but if they've been warned, fine. But AT HOME?? Even WITH warning, that would be unreasonable and wrong, and without warning, it's completely criminal and disgusting.
