Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

We are so. fucking. romantic.

Cat food is a romantic purchase. It's ones sweetie's way of saying, "Darling, I'd really rather the cats didn't dine on you in your sleep. Kisses!"

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Our kitties are annoyed with us for leaving them for an overnight. We went to see my great-aunt and -uncle in Schenectady- it was fun, though I'm glad to be home. We don't do anything for Valentine's Day, but watching N&D, married 55+ years open their cards at breakfast was awesome.

BOX WINE!

Our teeny grocery doesn't have box wine from a vintner that I like; however, Lindemans has wee little 4-packs of bottles that hold 1 glass apiece. I really like Lindemans, so I grabbed a 4-pack of Shiraz. (I have a vac-u-vin thingie that is supposed to keep wine fresh if you can't finish a whole bottle, but for me it's less keeping it fresh and more an issue of how often I drink at home, which is not very. So even if I vac-u-vin it, I end up not getting back to it for a very, very long time. So wee tiny bottles from a vintner that I like are just what I need.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, tajke out and a DVD is always romantic in my book.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Every time I see a picture of Shane, I want to jump onto the 5 and book down to LA just to eat him up.

Which is saying something as she usually restricts herself to toes!

It would be if it weren't Robot Chicken. Don't get me wrong; I love Robot Chicken. And the DVD wasn't even my idea anyway. I was all set to get groceries and come home, watch the Simpsons, and then do domestic shit like washing the dishes. But The Boy suggested getting a movie to support our local video store (it's not Blockbuster; it's a locally owned indie store that kicks all ass). So after I lamented the lack of Monsters vs. Aliens, we found season 4 of Robot Chicken and realized that stop-motion fucked-upped-ness is the perfect capper on our own little fucked-up Valentine's Day.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

"They look like FLAMES! I didn't know tulips came like that! I had to get them for you cause you like to set shit on fire!"

AWESOME. Also, has he got a brother or sister in Oregon?

Did not watch Foxfire. Ended talking to an OKC friend on the phone until his battery died. DAMN I wish I was attracted to him. Stoopid chemistry thing.

Our wings are not tired.

Awww, Shane is a most adorable valentine.

We took a quick trip cross state to go to dinner with my parents and sister. It is chilly so there were bunches of alligators sunning themselves. Even saw a rare sight, a little key deer.

Back home with Georgia at my feet and Brandy next to me snuggled watching Olympics. DH isn't feeling well so I drove all the way home. He has gone to bed. No school tomorrow so I get to sleep in. Whee!
