Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Hey, ND, no fair posting your user # without also telling a bit about yourself. Introduce yourself, baby! Do it for the lurkers.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not for nothing, but the lurkers theoretically already know everything about us, due to the lurking....

I found out that if you lurk too long, you start thinking of responses to posts and threads, and then when you do post you do so with the responses that never actually made it to the board in mind. And people can assume the new poster is, you know, insane. Could just be me, though.

Oh yeah. I delurked somewhere else one time with a whole list of things I was going to respond to from the previous year. Good times. Then I re-lurked.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Barb, I'm on a Mac as well. Hold the cursor over the blue name and the number shows up in the status bar at the bottom of the page at the end of a string of code: "Go to "http//www.buffistas.org/profile.php?id=NUMBER"

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Barb, I have a MacBook. When I hover the cursor over someone's name, and then look down at the grey bar at the very bottom of my window, their number is there. Jesse's number 8. Wow.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Not sure about Barb, but in Safari on my mac, I don't have a grey bar.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Ah - perhaps it's a Firefox thing?

“Not dead yet!”

Nope, I'm on Safari and I found it. It just didn't occur to me to look DOWN. I'm so accustomed to things showing up right next to where I'm hovering. DUH.

And msbelle, I think if you go into Preferences for Safari, you can request that the bar show up as part of your window.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And re-reading my answer to Seska, I can see why some people may think I'm nuts.

I'm not nuts.

I'm just trying to make as much as spare time as I possibly can.

Seska (the Watcher-in-Training) - Oct 07, 2009 5:42:18 am PDT #759 of 3094
"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

And re-reading my answer to Seska, I can see why some people may think I'm nuts.

Well, I didn't like to say it, as such.*

*I would so much like to follow this sentence with an ellipsis. Watch me try really hard not to do so.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I don't try and compel you ellipsis people to do anything you don't want to do.

At least, not until we'll have a punctuation thread.
