Is SO true.

No, no kidding involved. Wikipedia lists one use of the ellipsis at the end of a sentence as an indicator of "...a trailing off into silence." That's pretty much how I speak, so....
I was (mostly) kidding, following this. Some ellipses are justified, if the text is too long.
Use too much of them, and I'll either think you're dying or can't make up your mind about the topic in question just yet.
Nothing personal. Still, it's better than the original fake French accent I read them with.

What about those of us who can't... ever... make up... our minds... about... anything...?
What about those of us who can't... ever... make up... our minds... about... anything...?
Then why are we discussing it instead of saying "I don't know/I have no opinion about this"?
Most ellipses contradict conversation's flowing and efficiency in decision making, IMHO. That's all. If I'm doing something, I wanna do it right and thoroughly, you know?
I can always claim I met Sox at Sparky's wedding! Which is also where I met Sparky.
I loved my wedding.
Glam! I thought of something else to send you but now I cannot remember what it is. Unfortunately, in my case, my pre-pregnancy brain has not returned. I'll remember when I trip over whatever it is.
I am just posting to see my user number!
Welcome Lurkers!
Come on out, more lurkers!
I still can't figure out how to see my user number on my Mac.
I have Macs because I'm a dork when it comes to computers.
Barb, you are 2166.
I'm 68. I must not have had much to do that day.
Maybe you should change your tag, Sophia, to "Lurkers to become a poster should gather immediately now here".
(For posterity, her current tag is, "Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here".)
I found out that if you lurk too long, you start thinking of responses to posts and threads, and then when you do post you do so with the responses that never actually made it to the board in mind. And people can assume the new poster is, you know, insane. Could just be me, though.
Learn from my mistakes, people! Postify! (It's like testifying, only typier.)
Wow. 1149 used to seem so high!
