Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

This thread is like an Oral History of the Buffistas.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I was just thinking how much Isaac would adore billytea. They could talk animals for hours and Isaac at least would never tire of it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This thread is like an Oral History of the Buffistas.

For me the Ur-Buffista moment will always be walking into Erin/Sophia's room at the Chicago F2F and seeing so many people for the first time. Seeing everybody's actual height and hearing their voices. That and seeing Ple grinning like a mad thing as she ran down the hall during a costume change, having found her tribe.

Emmett took advantage of the moment and made billytea recite Most Dangerous Per Phylum.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

See, now I want to know your policy on the metric system.

It's fine for other countries. :) I got used to it living in Spain and even quit translating kph into mph after awhile, but the kg vs. pounds just never quite sank in. I always ended up with way more of anything I ordered at a deli counter because I was never sure just how many grams of anything I wanted.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Have I met you, billytea? I can't remember. I don't think so.

I don't think we've met, no. You should come to Australia! So should the rest of you. List of Buffistas I've met while they're visiting Australia: meara. This list is too small!

Emmett took advantage of the moment and made billytea recite Most Dangerous Per Phylum.

Hee. Let the record state that I am happy to work with children and animals, possibly simultaneously.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Stayed with: Cass, Debet Esse, Kristin, Teppy, Amy in SLC (what the hell was her board name? why can't I remember that?), Ellen, Miracleborns, ElenaB & Brian, Jen K, and Sylvie. And when I was in Toronto I didn't stay with John Sweden, but he took me out and showed me a hell of a time.

Stayed with me: Cass, Debet Esse, Kristin, Teppy, Ellen, Elena B, Brian, Jen K, Billytea, Nilly, Cabil, Kat P -- at some point X years ago Jon B and I were neck and neck for the lead but I think he beat me by one.

Obviously I may have forgotten things. I'm old.
