Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good point...I'm in all the threads except gaming, comedy, non-fiction TV, Fan Fiction, Great Write, and Premium Cable, variably posty in all the rest.

Fiona - Sep 30, 2009 11:26:49 pm PDT #7 of 3094

Hi, I'm Fiona, and I've been with the Buffistas since TableTalk times. I'm an expat American Brit living in southern Germany with my partner and my two lovely children C., who is 4, and B., 7.

Because of the timeshift - I work mornings, when most of you are still asleep - and because of the general busyness of my life, I don't get to post nearly as much as I'd like to. However I do try to keep up in UnAmericans, Boxed Set, Movies and Music, and I skip and skim in Natter.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Hi, I'm Calli. I've been with the Buffistas since about two weeks after the Phoenix board went up (lurked for a bit after that). I live in the NC Triangle area and I'm originally from Alpena, MI. You can chart the temperature and humidity in NC by how much I ramble on about moving back. So, yeah, I'm about done with that for the next 9 or so months.

At the moment I work for an NGO that does health care development in developing countries. I'm their website editor. I'm a single, 41 year old fangirl who spends most of her time in Natter, Bitches, and some of the media threads, depending on her fluctuating interests.

Our wings are not tired.

Hi, shiny new thread, regular posters, and lurkers! My name is Laura. I live in Delray Beach, Florida. On the Buffista Map my home is in the SE corner of that state.

Bitches is my most regular thread because it was the first one I posted in 8 years ago and the most comfy fit. Boxed Set and other show threads as time permits, and Natter in a more skipping and skimming manner. Always the right hand threads because I can't resist.

Time is the limiting factor for posting. I'm an owner of a software development firm with my DH for over 20 years, and we have 2 boys. Brendon is 17 and Bobby is 15. Life is busy.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Hello all! I am Sophia and I have been a Buffista since the Salon thread Buffy 5 by Five. When we were on World Crossing, I used to post enough that I was always in the top ten posters, but work and life has gotten in the way. For good or for ill, I was also the person who made the first formal voting proposal-- the vote on whether or not we vote!

I live in Upstate NY, and I am an administrative assistant by day and a costume maker by night.

I am mostly in Natter, Procedurals, Movies, Literary and Cable Drama and I occasionally pop in to Bitches.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I used to post enough that I was always in the top ten posters, but work and life has gotten in the way.

Hee! Gang of 14, representing.

I'm Brenda and I've also been around since TT, I think the 4th thread. Which makes it - almost ten years, I think? Whoa. I should look up my first post and see when my delurkiversary is.

I'm in Chicago, and don't see my fellow Chicagoistas nearly enough. My posting is more in fits and starts these days. I usually keep up in Natter and Bitches and a rotating handful of TV threads.

Amy - Oct 01, 2009 3:49:34 am PDT #12 of 3094
Because books.

I'm Amy, and I've been on the board for almost six years now. I started in Great Write Way, and I can usually be found in there, in Natter, or in Supernatural, with occasional forays into Lit, Movies, and Music.

I live way up in New York State, near Lake Ontario, and hate it, frankly, although I will say I've learned to drive in the snow pretty well. I have a husband and three kids, and I'm a freelance writer and editor. I would love to hit people really hard most of the time, but instead I just rant to friends on the internet and look at pictures of pretty men.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I've been on the board since TT-times as well- live in Salem MA with my husband TomW, who I met as a fellow Buffista, lordy almost 10 years ago now. So, you know, thanks Board!

I am usually found in Natter and Bitches, and a few TV threads (Lost, Reality TV, and Boxed Set when Doctor Who is around)

ETA: Duh, and the Dollhouse thread.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

tiggy here! i'm from nashville, tn. i've been posting since Wonderfalls, but lurked before that when Firefly was airing. i still lurk occasionally in Natter and Bitches, but my twitter addiction has kind of taken over and so now i really only ever post in the show threads. also show up in Buffistechnology to ask for advice from those much smarter than me.

i'm extremely involved in everything to do with David Cook, the winner of American Idol last season.

ummm...i guess that's about it!

Cashmere - Oct 01, 2009 4:13:26 am PDT #15 of 3094
Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm Cashmere, I joined the b.org collective at World Crossing (post Table Talk). I currently reside in Central Wisconsin (on the map) with my husband and two young kids. I'm a stay at home mom but I also write a column for the local paper. I'm usually in Natter and Bitches but I pop into show threads--I hardly ever watch shows in real time any more.
