Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Meaning a sandwich on baguette-type bread, yes? Like from Subway?

No, muffaletta bread is a big round flat thing. Kind of focaccia-ish.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

This is a muffaletta. The one from Central Grocery is approximately the diameter of a frisbee.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

THESSALY! LEIGH! It's Old Poster's Day in the Delurk thread!

Man, sometimes, I seriously miss Buffy being on air.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is a muffaletta.

That's about a quarter of a muffaletta.

I SAID frisbee.

I brought one back to college from spring break one year, and it fed me for days.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My preferred muffaletta serving is to get it with the olive salad, keep it wrapped in the paper for a little while, and then scrape the olive salad off. You get all the nice flavor without any of the actual icky olives. (Of course, my muffalettas are generally homemade now, they've got to have fake meat and non-dairy cheese. I haven't actually tried this yet, but I think that tempeh or seitan might work -- I tend to like those better than the packaged fake meats. I've seen a recipe that skips the meats altogether and uses grilled vegetables, but that seems wrong. Tasty, but wrong.)

Okay, this is exactly how the kerfuffaletta started.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Sometimes I worry if I truly am a Buffista. I've never had a muffaletta, but they do not sound appealing to me. I dislike cilantro, a lot. Grammar, while I appreciate its need, I inadvertently butcher it (and spelling), and have no opinion in the great comma debate. Sorry about that. And I don't drink enough to have an opinion on fernet and absinthe, as most booze just smells/tastes of alcohol and has no flavor. Perfume is similar for me, in that I can't smell the fragrance, just the alcohol. Except that cheap lavender crap that just makes the baby jesus cry. I also like broccoli.

But I love you all, and this thread is made of WIN!!! I also jump on bandwagon that the lurkers stay unlurked. Hard to believe, I can be very shy irl, but in here, jump into the conversation easily. But I understand that sometimes conversations whiz by at such a speed. Especially Natter and Bitches, which is why I only subscribe to Bitches, because I can't keep up in both. But everyone who has introduced themselves has been interesting and brought a smile to my face, and I instantly recognized as a Buffista!!

ETA fixed typo as mentioned in next post.
