Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

“Not dead yet!”

Weirdly enough, I feel better not being the only slacker. And like Theresa, I feel connected because I talk to so many of you on FB. This place, man...it's home.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I now have a mental image of msbelle as Glinda the good witch, singing "come out, come out, wherever you are-- and meet the young lady who fell from w star".

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

good lord, if I ever play Glenda (who I believe was really NOT AT ALL NICE), check for flying pigs and snow in hell. although I will sing.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Such a treat to see all y'all! I love this thread.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Me, too!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

juliana! Anne! Theresa! Excellent to see you!

Hi everyone! It's really nice to see your pixels.

Like a lot of other people I still feel pretty connected to the board because of facebook, even if I'm never here. I'll do my yearly update anyway though!

Still living in London, still married to a dude from Boston, still an archaeologist and still have two cats. But this year, I am also 31 weeks pregnant as I type, which is definitely new. So hopefully by Christmas we'll be two archaeologists plus two cats plus one baby.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Aww, how exciting, Jars!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Jars, that's wonderful!

I have been very lurkery this year, but I am still here. Really, the only notable things about this year are (a) being sober for every single day and night of 2016 (VERY GOOD), and (b) my beloved father's dementia has progressed at an appallingly fast rate, and he is in a nursing home (GOOD in that he is getting very good care. But otherwise JUST FUCKING AWFUL.)

Oh, and we got a kitten, in November of last year, but honestly, the paucity of notable occurrances for 2016 paired with the amount of cheer she's brought to me since we got her inclines me to put her in the VERY GOOD 2016 column.

Her name is Tiny Jingles, long may she reign.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It's so nice to see all the wonderful people here that I miss! I know I still see a lot of you on other platforms, but I always feel like the interactions are different there and I miss having you here.

Jars, 31 weeks! I think I congratulated you elsewhere, but I'm so happy for your and your wonderful DH.
