I'm in my late 30s, just got out of a relationship, lonely, depressed, and broke, and looking for Buffy people. Found the Board at random. Not sure how come all these people seem to know each other, but they're funny and smart, and reading about their lives in progress is better than a novel. And now the Real Actual Tim Minear is talking to us and everyone's chipping in to bring somebody named "Nilly" to the US for a tour, and this all seems pretty cool, so I guess I'll delurk.
Delurking 1: Because we don't always check our e-mail.
Hi - I'm Maidengurl/Lexine/Suziq
I have been lurking and posting occasionally for a few years but now that I'm posting more, I figured I should say Hi. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you at the NillyQue. Nervous but excited.
I'm married with two young kids. I like my job and it feels like I've been working here forever. My mom lives with us and it is so nice having three adults working and watching over the kids. I like baseball, palm trees, the oxford comma, and cilantro.
Yep, that's me. I'd been married for a month.
(An aside about the make a lot of jokes about eventually starting a cult comment: I hit 25K followers on Tumblr this morning. Now if I could only get this cult to be really lucrative ... )

I'm pretty sure it was Tiny Winter Soldier that pushed you over the edge.

This is not actually me (I joined in November 2001), but now I'm curious as to who it was!
Tiny Winter Soldier was pretty adorable. As I said, I'm really glad she's loyal to me.

Sweet Jesus, that's awesome.
Looking at Tiny Winter Soldier, and wow life has changed.
Right? All these children are supposed to still be infants! Preschoolers, at most!
Let's see. After writing down post numbers of how far I had read (a completist even then), I finally got myself an account. I'm a...Freshman, I think? In college. It's right around the time when the board moved, which, as a newbie, was super confusing. I will meet some of the Summervillains and NYCistas right before the DCF2F (also when I graduate and leave the East coast)
