Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm also about the same as in my intro post, except that we're back up to five cats but may be back to four very soon. As in, any day now. I also appear a little more often (I think) in Comedy.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Not so much different my original post, either, except that I've been making baby steps back into theater. Well, M (my boyfriend) and I moved into a place by ourselves, back into North Beach (thereby setting Vortex's view of SF back to rights), and we travelled up to Canada for an unexpected funeral in May. I had Tim Horton's every single day of that trip, sometimes twice.

I continue to bartend to support myself, but now I'm working at a place that has spirits, so that's more fun. I added some more stuff to my graphic design website, but I haven't been able to make any headway in that industry. Figures I'd pick the worst time to go into it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

P.S. Juliana continues to be awesome.

(She always forgets that part.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am having Worlds Colliding moments on Facebook now that you're part of the theatre crowd. "What? How do you know Ashl— Oh."

Actually, I knew a lot of those people before b/c of Heist A Crow and Stuart's readings (and almost being in The Frogs), so yeah. Welcome to my world.

eta: Which is good! Cross-pollination for all!

Hey, I didn't know Matt and Rana were in Heist a Crow ! Well, I didn't know them back then. Although I may have met Rana before then.

Our wings are not tired.

The funny part of this sentence, for me, is the "now that you're part of the theatre crowd".

Juliana had acted and directed professionally in at least three different states before you were out of college. And I was attending productions with her in SF (and accompanying her to auditions and readings) in January of 2006, if I have my dates right. It's not a hobby or side thing with her - it's her life. And I know you're enjoying your foray into theatre-land, but words and phrasing are important.

ETA: for more clarity. ETA: dates.

Yeah, I'm well aware of her theatre life. I, too, had a theatre life before this year. What I should have said is "now that we're part of the same theatre crowd and everyone is Facebook friends." I was surprised when she said Hermes was her SF stage debut, since I knew she'd been active in theatre here before then.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Nothing new in my life since my original post. Same husband, same cats, same job, same car.
