Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The thing is, no matter who you are, you live up to a dog's expectations. "You know where the dog food is! Brilliant!" "You went out to the yard and then came back in the door! Amazing!" "You stood up! Fantastic!"

I get lotsa sugar from both our cats and our dogs. I love the dogs milling about aimlessly but happily when I come home in the same way that I love the cats stretching themselves out and blinking at me to say hello.

Dani! From the frozen centre! So nice to have representation from the middle!

I was just thinking the other day, as I work a lot with people east of me up to Manitoba, that it would be very weird for me to live in say, Ontario, because people would be west of me. If I ever went right to the east coast, I would be so confused by the ocean being on the wrong side.

Anyway, hi!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am Bev WRT to cats v. dogs. Walkies seem constricting and stressful to me. And both my cats (most of the cats I've had, really) are openly affectionate and not aloof at all. In fact, one is quite possessive. Of everybody. She alone should get scritches, or so she believes.

And hi Dani! I think I've seen your pixels before, but it's been a while.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Dani! Good to hear from you!

Did you know that Nora(aka RahRah) is having a baby? She's due on December 15th, which is way too long to wait not long now.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

Hey Abby & smonster!

It's been a very long, long while. These days I seem to hang out mostly on LJ, where Liese told me about the Delurking thread. Seeing everyone pop up here has inspired me to try to come back more often, at least to the Great White Way & Natter.

OMG! I did NOT know that about RahRah. Congratulations to her & her partner, and to the auntie-to-be!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

hello lurkers!

And, to completely spoil Hec's day, I saw this in Kos the other day:

If humans fought wars like cats, the troops would stop every 30 seconds to lick themselves. This would make for very interesting news footage.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Hi, Dani!

The female cats I've had have been various levels of affectionate, from "just being in the same room as someone is a social interaction" to lap kitty and generous with purrs. The one male cat I've had, is something else altogether. It sometimes seems to me that he thinks it is his mission in life to heal the hurts of the whole world with his purring. He expects to be held, and skritched, and snuggled all the time.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Hello Maggie!

Also hello again Dani!
