I think I've missed some Buffista b-days - there have been so many - so Happy Belated Birthdays to Erika, Flea and others. . that I have forgotten because I am a terrible friend.
This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

I just got back from synagogue. The rabbi's sermon was about how Jewish tradition tells us that we should accept scientific truth, no matter what source it comes from (using the example of Maimonedes citing the Greek astronomers), and that people who insist on reading the Torah as a history book or a science book are missing the point.
