The Limbaugh quote does make me hope for a Larry Wilmore appearance on TDS.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

...the one I mentioned.

Huh. My brain has insufficient caffeine to string together a chain of thought that long....

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

...the one I mentioned.

The mention that tommyrot himself responded to two minutes earlier. SKIPPING AND SKIMMING YOUR OWN POSTS, DUDE!

A circular natter argument? Did we just beg the natter question?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Gud, please never start listening to the hate-monger radio people on a regular basis. I like you thinking better of people than I generally do.

I met with mac's teachers (one teacher went into labor this morning, so I met who will likely be the long-term sub as well as his other regualr teacher) and the school counselor this morning. As expected, they were SHOCKED to hear about our issue over the summer, but they were not dismissive. They tried to push back when I said we would be seeking anevaluation, but once I repeated that it was at the request of both therapist and psychiatrist and that the psychiatrist specifically has said "his anxiety is impacting his ability to learn", they assured me that a letter from me was all they needed to start the process.

java re: me moving to Texas

I don't really HAVE to, but it is where all my family, save my brother, is. My parents are both retired meaning they have free time, also meaning they are not getting any younger. I have not been able to build the level of support system that I really need here and I am not sure it is the place where I can. Futhermore, my mom's mom is still alive and in her nineties, therefore my mom will not leave the area. To be near them, me moving is the only option. Then there is the fact that they have a very full and fufilling social life for the first time in their adult lives. I don't have that anymore, so I am losing less in many ways to be moving.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I JUST heard someone say "By the time I got the information it was a mute point" and I giggled. Then I realized he was one of the attorneys and I laughed because I started thinking "Mute court much have been a bitch..." and picturing a trial where everyone's lips were moving but there was no sound.

Here's another word misuse - I see a fair amount of personals ads that say to the effect, "If my ad peaks your interest...."

Always Anti-fascist!

Not a common one at all, but I think I mentioned the fanfic where Eric got "eternal" bleeding.
