Just a few blocks from me ( though doesn't worry me, burglerwise. I'm on the other side of the iffy street and most of the hood breakins have been due to leaving a window unsecured, which I am paranoid about.) but SWORD.

Johns Hopkins undergrad caught a burglar in the act. Burglar had hit their house previously. Burglar lunged at student who had his samurai sword out. He chopped the guy's hands off and burglar bled to death.
Oh my lord. How did I miss that?

Okay, technically not mayhem like the Johns Hopkins sitch because no limbs were lost. Everybody's clear on that right? Mayhem = limb loss. And while we're at it, let's all be mindful of how we use "decimation," which is, of course, one in ten.
