No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just found the Jazz doc on YouTube in 10-minute segments--I'll go through them tonight and see if I can find that woman for you.

I don't know what it was about her hairdo that stood out over all the other bobs on screen, but she looked smashing in it.

“Not dead yet!”

Am I terrible for mocking the couple I'm currently watching on House Hunters? They're searching on the Oregon coast and Miss Thing is all "I want sustainable, I want green, I want natural!" and yet she's sporting these enormous acrylics?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I come back to my computer after making dinner and notice all these open windows. As I'm closing them, I notice a google search has been performed on "Fisher Price." Owen has been shopping online again.

Poor noodle fell asleep in a chair. I think his fever has spiked back up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, I would love to talk shit with the president.

I hope you'd at least respect off the record, right? Like, you'd only share it with us?

Because books.

Anyone know what the incubation is for fifth disease/parvo? Sara's friend got sent home from school the second day (so, last Thursday) with it, and now Sara's got a fever of 100 and complaining of just not feeling well.

F. lives next door and they play together pretty much every day, so.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Absolutely! And only on deep background. "A source close to the first lady said...."

Librarian Warlord

The CDC says 4-14 days, Amy. No longer contagious when the rash appears. Poor, Sara! I hope she feels better soon.

Speaking of disease, we have 13 students with suspected H1N1 in my academic department. Yay?

Because books.

Thank you, Sparky! I always forget CDC, and Mayo, etc., only give symptoms, treatment, etc.

Wow, 13? Yikes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was at work for a few minutes over 11 hours today.

It was not the best day ever.
