Oh, God, Shir - that's just lovely. Dude. You made me cry at work.
So glad you got to be there, and SO glad that Nilly had such a beautiful time with people who love her. She is very much beloved, is our girl, and I know that I'm not alone in wishing wishing wishing I could have been there too.
What a beautiful report. Thanks, Shir! I've not had the pleasure of meeting Nilly yet but I have no trouble imagining her exactly as you describe. And I'm sure she knows the other Buffistas were there in spirit.
Nilly, my very, very best wishes to you and your husband for now and for the rest of your lives together. Wishing you all the happiness in the world.
OK, first aid question:
I managed to hit my finger into a nail that was hidden in the banister, but not that hard, so now there's a bubble of blood under my skin. I figured I need to get it out somehow, but I don't have any sterile needle on me or anything like that. My own nails don't help much.
Is it bad to leave it like that for a few hours until I'll get home and my nurse-mom will handle it? Should I try and burst it out myself? (I have few decorative pins on me, but they're hardly what you'll call sterile.
Let mom take care of it, Shir.
I can't thank you enough for the wedding detail. I have witnessed the joy and love that surrounds Nilly's smile so it is easy to imagine the scene.
What a lovely report. Thanks, Shir.
I hope you and Nilly were feeling the love for all of us.
What a lovely thing to read first thing!
Much joy to Nilly and her new DH. Thanks, Shir, for sharing this with us.
Thank you for sharing that, Shir!
I hope the pictures, once that Nilly will approve them to be public, will clarify the things that I can't put into words. Because this post feels too little for such a joyful event.
Oh, Shir-- you did a lovely, lovely job.
