I'd also like to ask for some health~ma for Rigatoni. Either he or Seamus has vomited at least twice since yesterday morning. And while Seamus is acting like his usual sweet self, Rigatoni has taken to hanging out in out-of-the-way places and resting a lot. Which is very out of character for the bundle of energy who has to be so far into the middle of everything that we call him the Snoopervisor.
He has a vet appointment for tomorrow evening. Though we may take him in tonight if he isn't acting more like himself.
It doesn't help that Hubs is still grieving deeply over Teddy.
Book is sent off to Kate. Bye bye, first fiction book.
Now I shall sit and wait. And wait. And wait.
And try to not throw up.
Good luck Allyson. I hope it goes well.
Join us in the Kanye-hateathon!
Seriously, I hope it's soon announced that Kanye is entering rehab, because it's clear that he's at least bingeing and needs to stand back and take a look at how he's going. It might not help the assholeishment, but at least he'd be an asshole who keeps his mouth mostly shut.
Kanye did apologize on his blog...sort of.

Was he drunk when he posted that?
Allyson--I am halfway through and totally in love with Sam. Sorry that I did't have any constructive notes, but it is already in really good shape. I am so digging the book that I am going to finish it for my own selfish enjoyment and if I do have any (too late) notes. I will send them along. Basically so far all I have to say is Scrappy + Sam 4eva.
Seriously? Not just sayin' that because you love me and I just re-purpled my hair?
Nope. Although I do love you and your hair.
Huh. I am a freak, as I do this too: Can you see time?
"I thought everyone thought like I did, says Holly Branigan, also a scientist at Edinburgh University, and someone with time-space synaesthesia.
"I found out when I attended a talk in the department that Julia was giving. She said that some synaesthetes can see time. And I thought, ‘Oh my god, that means I’ve got synaesthesia’."
So what exactly does she see?
"For me it’s a bit like a running track," she says.
"The track is organised around the academic year. The short ends are the summer and Christmas holidays – the summer holiday is slightly longer.
"It’s as if I’m in the centre and I’m turning around slowly as the year goes by. If I think ahead to the future, my perspective will shift."
Me two. Although I picture the year differently - for me, Nov. and Dec. are at the lowest part of the track. When a new year begins, I have the sensation of rotating to a new point of view as I see the year from a January perspective.
