Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

If you are near Edwards AFB, then yes, it was the space shuttle. I just saw it on Olbermann. And I thought you were joking!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I am two hours from there. It was really fucking loud.

I heard it one of the times I was out in LA. Yes, it is.

giraffe mode

I am two hours from there. It was really fucking loud.

I'm even further south than you are(Inglewood)and it shook the whole building! The family got a good jolt in Torrance too. They usually aren't that loud. It really was loud

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Further review on that YouTube video indicates that (a) they pranked him because he snuck around looking at presents and (b) they did actually give him an XBox.

However, I still want to break their kneecaps with a crowbar.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Adults shouldn't "prank" kids. Period. I despise so-called practical jokes, anyway, but they're particularly despicable when played on someone who's not emotionally mature enough to handle them.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Am home. All I want to do is put on some pjs, pound some NyQuil and sleep forever, but I seem to be STARVING. This does not seem fair.

I am also home, and I have my inside pants on, and plan to curl up on the sofa until it is time to move to the bed. I stopped on the way home and bought soup, even though I have no interest in food.

The big question for me is nyquil or whiskey.

Or maybe the question is in what order.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Perkins, if I was there, I'd feed you some bourbon and miso soup. You get some rest, please!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I heard the shuttle land! The whole family heard it.

I am not going to watch that You Tube video. That might make me a bad mom, but I just can't watch parents tormenting their kids like that.

Speaking of tormenting, my son has reached a new and unfortunate level in his behavior. He *wants* to be good, at least in theory, but it's just TOO HARD. Anyone find a solution to the "I am going to kill you" threats? I really am tired of that one.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

What's a good but fairly easy appetizer to make for a potluck?
