Just caught up after spending the weekend at my 20th high school reunion (man, that was weird).
msbelle, I feel so bad for you! I wish I could help.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I bet you had the best haircut.
Did you have fun? did you find that some people changed radically and some ( sadly) hadn't changed at all?
I did have fun. My sister and I basically planned the entire thing and it worked out great. We had a fantastic turnout and people seemed to have a good time. The venue was an outdoor bar. The weather was good, the food was good and people stayed well past midnight (it started at 6 pm). The golf scramble and family picnic were also well attended.
We set up a photo slide show of old pictures people sent in and that got a lot of laughs.
Hec, there are a few hair stylists that I went to high school with that had some KICK ASS cuts. You'd have loved them. Sharp, modern, stacked bobs that showed some sexy napes. Lots of great color, too.
I'm so glad we got a good friend of ours to attend with her girl friend. She panicked a few months ago and was worried about what people would think but they came and we had a fabulous time hanging out with them.
I think I'm going to advise my kids to limit the number of high school classmates they have sex with. Because that sort of makes the reunions a little weird.

As a hetero girl, I can say that going to an all-girls' school makes this problem go away.
ION, this may be the most utterly surreal picture I've seen yet of Obama: [link] Buh? It's funny, though.
Ack! Got a nice new toilet seat, but the old one won't come off. First off, the bolts have to be released from underneath, secondly, there's two inches of room to work in on either side, thirdly, the washers holding the bolts are plastic that are soft enough to not hold their shape when I take the wrench to them (and therefore no gripping or turning-ness) but hard enough that the hacksaw isn't a viable option.
Drill through the top like I'm popping the head off a screw, or blowtorch from below?
Neighbor is an option, but it took him a month and a half to finally walk across the driveway to do a two minute job, so I won't be holding my breath.
60 gallon sized ziploc bags, all used up. Here's part of why: [link]
All our washed clothes are in bags. Mac has a shirt with a pair of socks and a pair of underwear, then pants are in a separate bag. I have a dress or skirt/top or pant/top in with a pair of underwear. I think I'll be going through a new box each week until treatments are over. I could never be a real germphobic OCD person, I have WAY too much stuff.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Kat!
Home now. Tired.
Damn. For once I take the time to actually write a lengthy post about this lovely weekend, and the computer ate it. Oh, well.
