I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

People! I expect to find important news being discussed at b.org, not piddly presidential speeches and the like. Nicole Richie had her baby (a boy) and named him Sparrow James MIdnight Madden. Oy.

“Not dead yet!”

Also, dig the screencap she has in that entry. That is a beautiful thing.

Okay, not to beat the Rahm thing to death, but anyone else get the distinct impression that that smirk on Obama's face seems to suggest, "Oh man, is Rahm gonna fuck your shit up."

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Totally. Although I gotta say, I'm really fond of that death glare on Biden's face.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

And that screencap is AWESOME.

I want to hug it and pet it and call it George.

Sparrow James MIdnight Madden.

There's a normal name in there. The other rock stars kids are going to tease the shit out of him.

It really is a trifecta of great expressions. The death glare from Papa Joe, the smirk from Obama, and the "Oh, I know you did not just say what I think you just said," expression on Nancy's.

There is deffinately a touch of "Oh your ass is mine " in B-man's face.

Heh. Don't piss the guy off, Rahm is just WAITING to be cut loose.

I kind of think Biden is going, "Who is that? Damn, I wish I had my glasses on."

Always Anti-fascist!

wrod. Talk about Good Cop/ Motherfucker Cop I told my mom that when Emanuel had lost his fingertip, it was very touch-and-go and that Mrs. E. was very concerned that her boy's brain was damaged and he wouldn't be quite the same, ever. "But when he started cursing," she said tearfully. "I knew he would be okay." Mom said "Sounds about right to me."(Though I came late to the practice, I apply myself a lot.) but, dang, she can't *pretend* I'm a lady? ETA: All of those guys really fascinate me...it's not every family that could make me feel laid-back and demure.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm not sure Rahm is the best person to be cut loose in this situation. One factor in the response needs to be "We are better than that." When he wants to, Obama is a master at that style. Rahm, not so much.
