I may try to get a pic of mac tomorrow. I tend not to do first day of school pics in an effort to downplay things.
His teacher already called me(per my request since we did not know his dismissal time), and he is no longer in the extra schooltime required extended day, which means I do not think they are classifying him as an ESL or ELL student anymore. His quick learning is such a mixed blessing.
I also called the school counselor and she is setting up a meeting for myself, her and the teacher for early next week. None of them know about the events of the summer. should be fun.

I've spent the last 20 minutes laughing hysterically at a cat drinking water off his own head, and a cat flailing about in a half-inch of bathtub water, and a bunch of ridiculous signs. Thank you. I needed that.

I just checked and Andy Roddick hasn't tweeted since he got knocked out of the US Open. Serena Williams has tweeted about him, though. I guess he's still smarting--his exit off the court was very quick.

losing exit was much slower--he even decelerated to clap on his way out. That man loves an audience--and the audience loves him back.
We just took these disc profiles at work, and I came as: Competitive, Confrontational, Direct, Results Oriented and a change agent. I don't know if I like this....
I only managed a couple of hours of sleep last night. My eyeballs hurt, and I need to sleep so bad. I have no idea how to make it through the next five hours without falling apart.
