You guys!
It's funny - I don't get that it's for real. That *I* am getting *married*. That he *marries* *me*. That *he* is *marrying* me (I can play with that variations of starring those words in that sentence, as much as the words-numbers allow). The one thing that makes it even remotely real, something that is actually happening, and actually happening to me, is the response from other people - their emotions and joy and well-wishes.
Oh Nilly! Getting married, oh my goodness!! Yay!
You look so beautiful. Noah just saw your picture and said, "Pretty! Who's that?" Of course to him, the name Nilly is like Lili, who he met on friday. He was confused.
Noah thinks I'm pretty? Yay!
Nilly, you're really getting married.

I am so pleased that Nilly and her soon-to-be Khusband have found each other.
The OMGfacisctscaryObama speech to schoolchildren has been released: [link]
Completely non-political, bordering on boring, as I expected.

So the woman *crying* on CNN about not wanting her children to see the speech was...what's the phrase?...insane?
What a shock.
I have been going through my crap and taking pictures of things to sell. I have also made a small give-away pile and a larger throw-away pile. I guess I should keep the give-away stuff to see if anyone wants to buy it, but I doubt it... One potential issue is I may sell some furniture, but it depends on my new apartment, which of course I don't have yet! I sure do have a lot of crap. On the plus side (kind of), I found a suit I had gotten too small for, which will now fit again.
Bits of the speech that I am positive someone will say are socialist:
And this isn’t just important for your own life and your own future. What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country. What you’re learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future.
We need every single one of you to develop your talents, skills and intellect so you can help solve our most difficult problems. If you don’t do that – if you quit on school – you’re not just quitting on yourself, you’re quitting on your country.
Even though I've seen plenty of stuff from the fifties saying exactly that.
