I didn't create the troll. I didn't date the troll. In fact I hate the troll. I helped deflate the troll-- All done.

hip deep in pie

Mac is enthralled b/c his fave, rafi, is playing. I have promised many snacks for the rest of the day to keep him occupied for the venus match following.

I just turned the TV on and knew who was playing by the grunts before I even looked at the screen. Will totally look for you in the crowd.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Happy birthday, Flea!

We just got back from biking down to the NY Aquarium and back - the oldest bike path in the country's oldest bike path (designated as such in 1894) is right outside our front door and goes all the way down to the boardwalk. Tomorrow morning we may do it again w/ our next door neighbors.

Happy birthdays!

I raked up my back postage stamp (have to do that time to time to keep the vines under control) and tried to saw at the bush, but as I suspected, don't have a good saw for that, and neighbor is out of town. So that was foiled. Will probably go out for a walk and a swim in a bit....oooh, I can sweep the porch!

Our wings are not tired.

I've potted some indoor plants. Did some maintenance on some others. Inside chores still result in me being covered with sweat. DH is painting the garage floor outside in the heat. I just can't even imagine working outside.

eta: I don't feel like too much of a wimp now. Checked and although it is only 89 the heat index is 105. The humidity is killing me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Inspired by sarameg, I went out for a walk. I didn't really have the right shoes on, though, so I didn't make it a Big Walk. Still, good times.

I just bought liquor (on a Sunday!), and now have a wider variety of beverages than I think I've ever had in my apartment when not planning for a party.
