Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

As a special Buffista shoutout, I give you my French bats:

I had a spinach, turkey and swiss wrap.

So today I: hit the farmers market, got a pedicure, made the Target and TJs runs, got a book I really wanted at B&N next to the TJs, stopped at the hardware store and got stuff to hang a bar in the basement, walked 3 miles and worked out what is going on with the shin splints (it's definitely due to hormones- my gait changed because the joints are looser and I have to compensate consciously for that for a bit) and then went to the pool, where I can now swim 2 laps before I have to stop and catch my breath. It's progress. Then I came home and hung the bar above the dryer so I can take stuff out of the dryer and put directly on hangers.

I'm feeling like it was a day well spent!

I've still got a lot of stuff I'd like to do this weekend, but if that was all I got done, it's good.

Also, I managed to lose Loki in the basement. He really likes going way back into the closets and disappearing.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

They're called Natterer's bats.

Awwww! They're my new favorite bat.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Happy belated birthday, Liese!!

having kids write letters about "what they could do to help the President." I can see how that could be seen as problematic.

George HW Bush used the exact same language in his speech to schoolchildren with no protests.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Is there a transcript of George HW's speech somewhere? I tried to find one last night, but no luck.
