You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy belated birthday, Liese!

Am home from the US Open. We left before the end of the men's match, so I'm glad there wasn't a big upset.

I got a big election guide in the mail in Korean and I think Chinese. I wonder if I'll get one in English?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Why are the "minority" kids relegated to the backup singing and C level plotlines?

Because they're paper-thin stereotypes who would probably collapse under the weight of a real storyline that treated them like people?

(Um, yeah. I hated this show a lot.)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I has a kitty in my lap.

Had fun playing games w/ roommate and her friends last night. I reigned victorious, which is always a bonus. But now I'm up two hours later than I'd planned.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Watching Glee and last night's old Criminal Minds back-to-back turns out to be surprisingly creepy...

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just had to take my aunt to task for forwarding me a "White Pride" email. WTF? Before coffee, even. Fucking racists.

I'm officially seceding from my family. Who wants to belong to my new one?

I wonder if the schools who decide to not broadcast the president's speech will excuse the absence of any kid whose parents want to keep them home to watch the speech.

Do you offer dual citizenship? If so, sign me up.

Oh, yeah. No need to leave your current family if they are cool--unlike mine.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Where do I sign up?

(VEGAS, maybe)

Awesome. I'm in. I only WISH I could sign my official papers in Vegas.
