That could be awesome. Wouldn't work so well for Colbert, but you never know.
TCR with Tracy Jordan.
Just found out CJ's school will NOT be showing the President's address next week. Grrrrrr.
I have pretty much NO plans this weekend. Sleep. Work on divorce paperwork. Cleaning house. These things should happen, but I wouldn't really call them "plans".
I think that there are a number of the regular contributors who could hold down the fort for Jon.

I would love for them to find someone (probably not any of the TDS stable, at least none that I can think of) to riff on one of the other Fox commentators (in the way Colbert's inspired by O'Reilly). Maybe even "Colbert Friends".

Patton Oswalt as Glen Beck.
They do look alike, poor Oswalt. OMG, KO's impression of Beck is incredibly funny...he really went for it yesterday. We need a faux-Coulter or Malkin, too. But people could *really* hate her if they don't get the joke.
I saw that clip of Beck's show about the building. I'm not sure anyone can parody Beck better than Beck.
NYCistas - if you know of anyone who would be interested in Open tickets for tomorrow day (gates open at 10 and evening session never begins before 7) I have 2. face value $62 each. My time is very limited to meet up with people though. they can email me at rlb14 at columbia dot edu.
I thought getting rid of these would be no issue.
