It is Friday for me, I'm taking tomorrow off!

Hmmm. Joan Allen could do it.

Cool thing about Project Runway being on Lifetime--I saw a commercial for an upcoming biopic of Georgia O'Keefe starring Ms. Allen. I think it's on later this month.

Always Anti-fascist!

I also hate the idea of a new, probably glam, PS. Because you know NBC wanted Jason Priestly to play Detective Munch and only Fontana's begging got Belzer.(I kind of hate Fontana, but I owe him props for that.) They also insisted on "Poochie" Falsone and his opening a bottle with his teeth... PROCEDURAL CREDIBILITY FAIL. Do not want.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

End of my block. The fire must be out because I'm seeing nothing.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm taking advantage of the long weekend to get five days off in a row, but I know I'm going to come back to a big bag o' crises on Wednesday. I just need to get away from work for a while, or I'm going to blow a gasket. My boss gave me my mid-year evaluation yesterday, and because I wasn't doing enough projects (?!) she gave me a couple "easy ones". Right. I work 12-hour days on a regular basis, woman, is that not enough?

OK, rant over. Carry on.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, they were premiering the O'Keeffe piece in Santa Fe, but it wasn't until after we were gone.

I have Monday off, and whoo boy do I need it. It has been a rough week to start back to school. This year's schedule is kind of insane. We dropped one location, but the other two have jacked up to twice a week. Then we add on Thursday night rehearsals and Saturday night performances for the new rock & roll church. That plus we're still doing the second job teaching music for pay on Thursday afternoons & Saturday mornings. And now our kiddoes are coming more regularly Saturday morning.

So there is literally not one day of the week where we're not expected to be somewhere doing something. We may need to drop Sunday morning church, but I don't want to because it's the only place we're not doing traveling music school work. Our kids have been coming up to the Saturday night service, so we want to encourage that, but it makes that ministry and not chill time.

I liked it better when we did the week by week schedule. The travel was crazier, and I'm happy to be in my own bed every night now, but I'm the sort of personality who doesn't love routine, and weekly routines were good enough for me.

Anyway! The point is, yay for Monday off!
