I think I am going to bite the bullet and upgrade my Tivo. Being unable to record two shows at once is starting to be a problem. I can upgrade right now for $250, it is very tempting. Must look at the CC balances. I know I've run one of them up with the bugs and the Drs this past month, just not sure how bad it is.

yeah, I should be doing work or calling school offices, but this is what I'm doing.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

upgraaaade. Do it. CC balances can be paid. The question is, can you afford the monthly? If yes, upgraaade. (Zombie TiVo? I don't know.)

Theodosia, do you mind me asking what anti-anxiety meds you're taking? Mine make me nicely not-anxious, but they make me rather less awake than I really need to be.

OK. I have a ton of paper that needs to be digitized, and I don't have time to do it. Can I hire someone to do this? There are people/services that do that sort of random work, right?

I've never been to Paris, but I am really wanting to go lately. We should totally do a Paris F2F.

If you upgrade, can you get a lifetime membership? ETA: I bought three years of service for mine when I got it, and now they are allowing me to top that up with a lifetime sub.

I got my Tivo box for free (from a neighbor) and then activated it and bought 3 years of service. Tivo is now offering me $50 off for an upgraded box that will allow both Netflix viewing and recording 2 shows at once. My 3-year plan will rollover onto it and then I'll pick up with a new plan next spring. I'll probably do it before the day is over, just want to make sure I am not maxing out another card.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why did my phone just reboot mid-post?

What I meant to say was:

Big boy Owen!

One of my car windows is stuck in the down position. The hits, they just keep on coming.

Oooh, that is a good deal.

Are TiVos still as popular as they once were? I am the only person I know who has one in NS, because most people have DVRs through their cable company. I love my TiVo more that a human should...especially now that it's network w my computer and I can transfer back and forth.

I think most people get a dvr through the cable company, it is cheaper if you are paying for cable, BUT, I don't have cable, so for me, a tivo and service is cheaper.

I never got the one I have now working wirelessly, but if I get this new one I really want that and I want it hooked up through my computer if possible.

“Not dead yet!”

I hate my satellite company's DVR and miss my Tivo immensely. But the Tivo 3 and our satellite weren't compatible.

The satellite co's DVR is illogical.
