Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

'Objects In Space'

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay, Noah!

Hey, y'all -- thanks for the good wishes. I hope this isn't the dumbest thing I've ever done!

“Not dead yet!”

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The theme was "The Prisoner". Said friend's partner had huge Rover-esque balloons all over the yard, and the cake was round and white and had little hands pushing OUT of it, just like Rover had caught someone.

I am DED with jealousy. OMG. Want.

Also DED from cute re: Noah.

Congrats, Jesse! Very exciting.

Allyson, there is hope with the next generation.

How is it these kids are talking and singing already! And so adorably!

Reason #eleventy million I love my hood: the fiance of a friend from work & his friend stopped by briefly as they were walking back from buying beer. Got to chat about the trip and their wedding adventures. Just cause they were in the 'hood (they live a couple blocks away.)

It's like the universe is conspiring to keep this social creature about!

Timelapse of the apocalypse. Or just the smoke and pyrocumulus clouds from the Station Fire. [link]

And a timelapse from the Mt Wilson webcam from yesterday and last night. [link]

3 hours ago, the Mount Wilson blog update ( [link] ) read

She could give no updates as to the status of the fire in the Mount Wilson vicinity except that the USFS still considers that passage of fire across Mount Wilson is imminent and will be fought aerially rather than with ground personnel. Once the fire is through the area, they can assess the damage by air after the event before they can send in ground personnel. She also confirmed what PJ's monitoring implied, that firefighters have been removed from Red Box.

Hiss.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Man, I wish Megan was around. My bat just left the gare du nord and has discovered the siene. I feel so lost. I've never been to France and am navigating by maps and photos. I can't make it authentic in the way I want to.
