I'm about to leave, to go to... my old place.
Wish me luck.

You've seen Gaslight?
I was thinking about that. But I brought delicious pie to my coworkers today. Is this how they repay me?

I don't know what to tell you.
So I have my student workers narrowed to three-- I hate choosing.
#1- Nice gay boy. I love him, and he has the most office type experience. I think we could get along great, but he is a senior and does not have workstudy
#2- Nice geeky boy, but a little overexuberant and loud so as to possibly be annoying to me/cow-orkers. But nice. Has enough experience. Pluses- is a sophomore and has workstudy
#3. Nice shy girl, who I am afraid does not have a big enough personality to cope with me/my boss. Has worked at in my building and her job is being eliminated, and her boss gives her a glowing recommendation for everything except for being shy. Is a grad student and does not have work study.
My gut say #1, my brain #2, and my heart #3.
#2 - he will quiet down, especially when you tell him he needs to.
what is the difference between having and not having workstudy (I know the diff here, but I am amazed at how we do things differently from other schools)
If you have work study, the office only pay 1/4 of the pay rate. So instead of paying $9.00 an hour I will be paying $2.25 an hour.
I think I am to emotional to do this picking people thing....
Buffista men, say something charming so that I can remember that the world is actually filled with good men and not tools.

ah, so picking a work study student means that your department saves money. hmmm.
