I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's really great, Kat. Something amazing for Grace and everyone to look forward to.

It is hot, isn't it? My father thinks of LA as kinda chilly, so of course it's going to cool down when he gets here, but I couldn't wish the heat on anyone much longer. My apartment only really gets hot for an hour or two around now. It'll be okay by the time I try and go to bed. I would cool myself down by sating my frozen fruit addiction, but I can't take my medication within two hours of eating. Pfft.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

It is great. But tempered by the knowledge that we have to get through flu season this year and it's been a wickedly bad one in the southern hemisphere with H1N1 being not digestive but pulmonary. So my little respiratorily challenged girl might backslide. In some ways, I wish she and we were ready for her to come home NOW right NOW so we could avoid it. But I have work and that means I'll be exposed anyhow.

Anyhow, what she wore to the party: [link] WATERMELONS!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm so glad to hear that Grace is improving so much! I suppose Noah and her will have more than usual sibling rivalry than most twins because of their long separation, different experiences, and so on, but it will be good to have to work through those experiences, you know?

YAY GRACE!

sara - look at Land's End for suits.

I am so pleased that none of Endashaw's friends seem to be wanting to avoid him (or the parents who know the FULL story) when we call about getting together. I was really afraid.

Yesterday was a good day. much needed. it is way to early to hope that it is a trend, but it was nice to have.

That's very good, msbelle.

I need to do try on, and have not the patience with mail order.

Debating staying awake. Probably the best time to walk, but I'm not really that kind of awake yet.

hip deep in pie

I'm glad you're getting some good days again, msbelle.

Sara, I got a sale flyer in the mail from LE recently that was mostly all bathing suits, so the price is probably right.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Lots of people stopped to talk to us and the scuttlebutt is that Grace will be home in less than a year. We have more training and she has more stabilizing, but yeah. Can you all imagine?

This made my morning! Yay Gracie!

“Not dead yet!”

Can you all imagine?

That's just so tremendous.
