Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ION, this is interesting: I Want To Ride My ($1,400, Dutch-Style) Bicycle

(By the way, I specifically sought out bikes in a style Europeans refer to as "step-through," and we here in the States refer to as "women's." Step-through bikes are much easier to elegantly mount and dismount, they allow you to stand up in comfort when at a stoplight, and they eliminate all risk of brutally racking your testicles. The fact is, that crossbar on men's bikes doesn't serve much purpose if you're not a performance rider.)

Do men in the US ride bikes like this?

The Poo Trap: An Alternative to Scooping Up After Your Dog

I’m afraid that this product is exactly what it looks like: a bracket that holds a stringed plastic bag while attached to your dog’s tail. At the expense of your dog’s sense of dignity, you get to avoid scooping up after him:

People invented many useful technologies to make people’s life easier. All these inventions (car is among one of them) are to make people’s life more convenient. With our “PooTrap”, no need to worry that dogs will cause environment pollution, and as dogs owners may know, actually it’s difficult to pick up poop.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

as dogs owners may know, actually it’s difficult to pick up poop.

wtf? maybe if it's diarrhea.

Can't stop crying. Don't know why a work related NO is triggering an existential crisis. Maybe I just really need the catharsis. But I don't know what the f*** for.

brillig

Look at this!

[link]

It's a model ship taller than I am! The detail is stupendous! And it's a model of a painted, gilded Dutch ship of the line from the late 1600s. Lord, I want it.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Juliebird, pent up, supressed anger? That used to surprise me sometimes at my last job.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Don't know why a work related NO is triggering an existential crisis.

I think that's happened to me before.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

pent up, suppressed anger?

Who, me? The queen of quietly drowning?

What's also killing me is that I can't even speak to explain myself. I'm sitting there with my index finger in the air waiting for the moment to pass, but it isn't, and a co-worker is putting words in my mouth about why I'm upset and I couldn't even interject to clarify. Because every time I opened my mouth more pathetic sobs tried to erupt.

And I've cut back on the barbiturates to an as-needed basis and forgotten them at work a couple of times, so I can't blame any side-effects on that (not that I've been using it long enough).

I think that's happened to me before

This too shall pass?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh, Julie, I have so been there. I have found that either just going with it or pretending you are having some bizarre allergy attack works.

I just got (accidently) invited on Facebook by a student to her "HouseWarming and Makeout Party this weekend . Think I should go?

Also, I feel like crap. My ear is all plugged up again, and it is so close to being an outer ear infections from me itching it. My nostril on that side is also plugged up, and I feel a little like I have been hit on the nose with a baseball bat.

Also, why am I such a pushover at the theatre. I know I cannot (even with help) make 3 doublets, pajamas, a matrix type coat, an evening dress with 3 bodices, and 3 other bodices, along with some headdresses in the time that is alotted. I haven't sewn period clothes in ten years, and even then I was just sewing on someones instruction. But I try to say no, and the designer seems so reasonable.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Megavideo is conspiring against me, telling me I've watched 72 minutes of video when I've watched maybe 45.

Sophia, unfortunately, allergy attacks amongst a staff that knows my allergies and that the ragweed isn't in bloom yet doesn't help. Although I think the hiccuping and sobbing didn't help either. Hopefully tomorrow doesn't involve long walks in the woods again. It's going to be cooler and I can't use the excuse of needing the shade again (although I did find an infestation of bamboo from a neighbors yard starting to invade our property.)
