I feel much better than I did, but I don't have enough brain power to do anything worthwhile that I need to be doing, such as writing any number of stories that are due soon, checking links on a site, updating a site, or anything useful around the house.
Instead, I am watching Jeremiah on Netflix Instant Watch and trying to figure out the best way to poach a nectarine without having to leave the house to buy anything.

Are any of you who are doing the mad cable negotiating have all three, internet phone and cable? Or just cable, or cable and internet?
We've got all three.
I've just got tv/internet through Comcast (my landline phone is AT&T).

the rest of the day was up and down and both dad and I are exhausted from the downs and the heat/humidity.

Yeah, actually we just have cable and internet -- cell phones through Credo, no land line at all, and they were still willing to deal.
When I renegotiate in a year I'm going to throw javachik's deal in their faces (or, possibly, just bribe her to log in as us and work her mojo in disguise).

I credit spell work I've done at my altar to Gaia and Hermes for being solvent enough to go to Greece in September, so I shouldn't throw stones. I'm not sure Crist would return the favor, though, if he were to hear about my comparison of my spell-casting and his.
