Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Did he model the faces on Colbert and Carell?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was at a WNBA game. Good times, even though our team lost...

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I went into the alley behind my building earlier and one of my neighbors was out with his dog. He had this look on his face like he was dying to ask me about my empty parking space. I wonder what wild gossip will result.

I have been burning through my to do list like mad. I even made a cucumber salad so that the vegetables I had in the refrigerator will still be good to eat come Monday!

Now I probably should pack.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Big Brother: OMG Ronnie is the stupidest person ever.

(I can't go into the Non-fiction thread until after SYTYCD)

Punishingly Intricate

The horrifying part was: "Adopted by the 3rd, or euthanized."

God, way to emotionally blackmail people. Come on! this person couldn't find a no-kill shelter or cat rescue for her cat?! In freaking Seattle? (You're in Seattle, right?)

I am staying up way too late and will regret it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

In case Jesse missed Dinosaur comics recently.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone on WX just used the phrase "nuked the fridge" to mean "jump the shark." Has anyone ever heard that before?
