Our wings are not tired.

Hang in there, sweetie.

So I just got off the phone with my friend, and who showed up at the residential treatment hearing but the stepson's biomom. Who has been absent for 9.5 years. Who wanted to discuss the custody agreement. This was not the place for that. Um. They all agree he should have access to her at some point, but not in the middle of treatment..

Anyway, the hearing itself basically got postponed for other boring reasons, but boggle.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

was a 4:50 SOS call from our Australian team

They called you up to sing ABBA tunes? That's awesome.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was at the office until almost 7 waiting for incoming work from a client who was supposed to get it to me two days ago, so it can be done by end of day next Monday. Guess who never sent me the materials I'm waiting on? (Though at least my supervisor called at 6:45 to let me know I wouldn't be getting anything tonight...)

Dear client: if I could wiggle my nose and make things get done instantaneously by magic, I would not be wasting that gift working for you.

So I was chatting with my 7-11 cashiers. One just got back from Pakistan, and the other ? Kathmandu! I was on the same side of the world, and for that matter, in the same city in one case, at the same time, as my 7-11 cashiers! How utterly bizarre is that?? We chatted how he weather was so great for monsoon season until just the end of July.

I'm told tickets to Kath are cheapest in the winter. Hmmm.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

So glad your Dad is coming, msbelle. You need someone else -- even if you just want to take a walk by yourself.
