I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

Walked out to Lake Montabello. Google says about 3 miles. Cooling down now. That was nice, even if one heel is hamburger now. Not sure why suddenly these shoes would do that, but eh.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I walked to the Farmer's Market, and it was pretty damned hot.

My weather widget said it was 80 when I left and 85 now. But there was a breeze, which made it ok. Still was soaked completely through when I got back, but then, I was booking it. I really need an obstacle course, not a clear track around the lake.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Supposed to be high of 94 here today and in the 90s through Wednesday. Ugh.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's 64 here right now, but it's supposed to get up to 84.

t /smug.

“Not dead yet!”

It's 92. The high was supposed to be 90.

Oh, and because all the talking heads kept babbling about how there hadn't been any named storms yet, of course, now there are something like four weather systems that have developed in the last few days and I think three have names.

Freakin' Florida.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's been a beautiful beach weekend here. Too bad I'm in the city! Also too bad I just spilled half a Vitamin Water on my carpet. It was unopened, but the cap popped right off! Bah.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I don't understand Amazon shipping policies. I ordered something that cost about $24.50. It said that I'd get free shipping if I ordered 50 cents more of stuff, so I added a package of erasers to my order. They're shipping the erasers in a separate package. I am positive that the materials and manpower to package and ship those erasers cost much more than the erasers do.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Creationists believe the darndest things!

Have you heard of the ‘Loch Ness Monster’ in Scotland? ‘Nessie,’ for short has been recorded on sonar from a small submarine, described by eyewitnesses, and photographed by others. Nessie appears to be a plesiosaur.

Could a fish have developed into a dinosaur? As astonishing as it may seem, many evolutionists theorize that fish evolved into amphibians and amphibians into reptiles. This gradual change from fish to reptiles has no scientific basis. No transitional fossils have been or ever will be discovered because God created each type of fish, amphibian, and reptile as separate, unique animals. Any similarities that exist among them are due to the fact that one Master Craftsmen fashioned them all.

I don't really understand what the two paragraphs have to do with each other, but, hey, who needs logic and rational arguments?
