Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

'Serenity'

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

...Bryan Singer, director of Valkyrie, will take on directing and producing duties for a BSG movie.

Let's see - should Tom Cruise play Starbuck?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yep, the BSG movie's been in development for ages. I'm actually pretty happy with Singer being attached - for a while it was just Larson and had a real risk of being Galactica 1980: The Movie.

(But still, oy - three canons for this universe now? Dune and Stargate feel your pain, BSG.)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

And for Adama: Ian MacKellan or Patrick Stewart?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

paralyzed with indecision, but will probably go with MacKellan to avoid the inevitable Picard comparisons.

Boomer should be played by a cartoon animal. Like one of the Hair Bear Bunch or Poochie.

With MacKellan as Adama, then Patrick Stewart could be Baltar.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Or that cartoon cat detective from "The Last Action Hero". The one voiced by Danny DeVito.

Brilliance.

Baltar would have a boyfriend, who he'd continue to see and talk to in his head. The part would be played by Richard Belzer.

Elle Fanning as Boxey for the token cross-gender casting!

Did we know that Dennis Haysbert was the voice of the Daggit Squadron Viper Pilot in Galactica 1980? I love Wikipedia.
