I saw a clip of Kathy Lee Gifford claiming that doll gave her the willies because what was next? Dolls doing it? She basically equated breastfeeding with sex. She was appalled that girls who hadn't developed breasts were pretending to breastfeed. I don't know if she is sickened by wee girls feeding their dollies with bottles.
I'm appalled she never made her dolls 'do it'.
My sister barely makes a living wage and she's had to take two weeks furlough this summer. It drives me crazy that they don't target those things a little more.
I sure as hell don't want to be furloughed but I could absorb it a lot better than people further down the scale can. Above 23k isn't exactly a progressive scale.
I know lots and lots of wee children - boys and girls - who "breastfeed" their dolls with their actual nipples. I have also seen a little boy "breastfeed" a toy truck. Kids with nursing younger siblings already do this kind of imitative play all the time.

We were talking about the breasfeeding doll at work yesterday, and I couldn't decide if I thought it was awesome or weird. Possibly both? I think any kind of active bodily functions are weird on a doll, but I think pro-breastfeeding propaganda is awesome.

Yeah, we were furloughed for two days. I was talking to a cabinet member who reminded me that "I was furloughed for five days " I was like, motherfucker you make at least three times as much as I do. Cry me a river.
