Ugh. One of my friends started talking about how much he hated being a corporate drone. We tried to make him feel better by saying "hey, here are all of the things that you get to do becuase you have a steady job instead of freelance catering" his response "thanks for making me feel bad about whining. KISSES!" My response "Okay, next time we'll just ignore you"
Why am I reading MRA arguments? They are driving me nuts, but I can't stop reading.
I really need to dye my hair.
Welcome to the rage, Hil.
I did, tommy, and thanks for thinking of me. I've had him up for a while. He's very pretty.
Cool.
I wonder if Fabulon knows about your sites?
I've had bad health insurance in the past - what I have now is pretty good (although when we first got it, a lot of places wouldn't take it), and I'm just grateful to have it. My mother has really good insurance, which is probably why she's still alive. My sister has crappy insurance - she needs a knee replacement and can't afford it.
Anecdotes I've heard - at one of the health care meetings, a young woman with a disability was trying to talk about how her insurance company refused to pay for some treatments. One of the protesters seemingly screamed that they didn't want to pay for her health care.
And have you heard about the guy who was protesting one of the meetings? It seems he slipped and fell outside ... which is now being portrayed as his being beaten up by union thugs.

OK, not only that, but he has no insurance. So they're taking up a donation for him.
ah, but I heard that it turned out he had insurance through his wife's employer.
Former White House political adviser Karl Rove was deeply involved in the firing of a U.S. attorney in New Mexico, according to White House e-mails and transcripts of closed-door testimony released Tuesday.
Shocked. SHOCKED, I tell you.
