Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

Speaking of things you never see any more, just recently I saw a MILKMAN delivering milk. In glass bottles. wow

I'm impressed.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plenty of cheap rental cars are also manual. Much cheaper to fix if something breaks. Also, manual windows are sometimes considered safer because you can roll them up faster than power windows.

Including manual transmission? That seems peculiar. When I worked in the car lot at the airport, I don't think any of the agencies had manual transmissions available. Maybe one, as a speciality item, but that was about it.

In our car renting history, we've only once found a manual transmission.

No, I meant manual windows and locks. Thank goodness, since I don't know how to drive stick.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Speaking of things you never see any more, just recently I saw a MILKMAN delivering milk. In glass bottles. wow

I was just thinking how convenient that would be. I do buy cream in glass bottles, but I haven't found a way to get it delivered.

Punishingly Intricate

Thank goodness, since I don't know how to drive stick.

I have to learn! And soon. There's a stick shift car sharing my parking pad now. Never saw the point of it. So much more fiddly than a regular car!

My grandparents owned a dairy store and we got milk delivered from them until it closed in the early 80s. That was the best milk ever.

Almost all the grocery stores around here have milk in glass bottles available.

So much more fiddly than a regular car!

Once you get used to it, it just becomes second nature. It can be a pain in stop and go traffic though. I'm so used to manuals that sometimes automatics get on my nerves, "Hey car, I didn't want to shift gears right now."
