Do you work for New Guy?
He's the project manager for the project I'm business analyst on. Since I have PM experience, I'm also his backup. I'm happy enough to take his place in meetings, etc, but actually scheduling them is borderline, and when it's for stuff he wants to talk about and can't be arsed to make? Plain irritating.
Had to go and get Chinese for lunch today, just so that I could have scallion pancakes.
he seems to be asking you to do his admin stuff, which pings me becuase the female PMs seem expected to do more of that here than the males.
I no longer want to eat what I brought for lunch. I want a salad.

That's totally true. Women, regardless of their role, are expected to take on administrative tasks. I loved that moment in Mad Men when Roger said "Peggy, can you get me some coffee?" and she simply replied "No."
Yeah, I'm setting up another meeting for him right now. At least this one I am sure he'll attend, because the boss is going to be at it. Maybe I should schedule it for 8am...
And I had to remind him to cancel a meeting for today. I don't want his position, even though I interviewed for it. I just don't see how he's coping with it properly.
I'm having chili for lunch, and it's a little spicy to eat by itself. I'll need to remember to get Fritos before I eat the rest!
I've been running my bedroom humidifier all winter, and it's definitely helped with the chronic sore throat, but it's still deeply weird to be voluntarily adding water to the atmosphere. The kettle on the fireplace doesn't seem to do anything, however. Which is kind of good, I guess, in a less heat-loss out of the top, more heat coming out the front where it will warm me up kind of way.
Ooh, chili. Maybe I'll go to Hale & Hearty today.
