If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What's with this "will not be allowed to fly" business?

Now tagless for your comfort.

The corporate nurse sent DH home today. He went down to get some Tylenol for a headache and she took his temperature. The fever got him sent home--they even sent someone up to his office to get his coat and keys so he wouldn't infect anyone else in the building.

New Guy needs to get smacked.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The nursing and radiology programs at our local CCs have years long waiting lists.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone track down the boss and send him over to New Guy's (empty) desk!

If only boss were here. New Guy just asked me to attend a 9am meeting in his stead, so I guess he's not showing up for a while. Hrrmph.

I love the fact that DH has a corporate nurse. It's like k-12 school!

I know! The only difference is the the company can afford to have the nurse there every day, all day and the schools can't.

So does that mean employees can take no meds without the nurse knowing (as would happen in a school) or a coworker can't give you an advil?

That's an excellent question. Pretty sure it's a drug-free campus.

I would NOT be down with that. When I worked at Wyeth, I don't think we had a nurse on campus, though there were plenty of doctors etc in the offices.

I AM STARVING now. I desperately want to make these [link] stat, but I don't have scallions so that's a limiting factor. Nom nom nom.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I want those, too. I wonder what I'll have for lunch...
