Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Wow sarameg, I have new found awe of your swimming.

I'm in decent enough shape strength-wise thanks to my stretching, but need to find some kind of cardio that doesn't fill me with pain, rage, and loathing. I HATE running, and I'm a crappy swimmer and even worse cyclist. I suppose I can go back to the elliptical at the gym, but I'm not sure I can do that for an hour at a time. Gah.

It was a dumb idea, having kids at my age. Now I have to stay healthy for them.

I'm getting the pig!

For me, exercise only works if I like it

That used to be me. Now I just want to find something that doesn't cause further muscle / tendon damage. I loved to swim when I was younger so we'll see how it goes.

How is Ashton doing?

He's doing a lot better now. Basically we spent 2 grand and still don't know why he stopped eating in the first place. BUT at least he's home and I'm able to coax him to eat most of the time. He probably just doesn't want that nasty feeding tube put in again, not that I blame him.

I know BOTH those feelings! (Mister Kitty and his travails.) If you loved swimming, definitely give it a go. If you still love it, it feels great.

OK, really to bed now. All the sleep today wasn't enough, I imagine.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, count me in on the polish exchange thing.

No one else seemed interested. I could send you some more though!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Burrell you might try running in the shallow area of the pool (or do other water aerobics). Swimming abilty does not affect ability to do that, it is a lot more comfortable and easier on joints than running on land. If you do the water aerobics thing you can skip any exercise that you make you uncomfortable and substitute running in place or something else you find comfortable.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm interested! I think Jilli and Smonster were, too. And stuff. We just fail at organizing. My habit of bulk buys means I have dupes floating around the place that need out of my Helmers and into good homes.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think I don't really know how to swim properly. I always do swim at hotels when I get a chance, but I would probably need taught before I could do it successfully as exercise. We do have a local aquatic center, but it's probably prohibitively far from me. My friend took water aerobics there for a while, but I don't know if she's still going.

I thought a bunch of people expressed nail polish exchange interest? But I was skimming, so I dunno. I would happily take some polish, but I have none to give. I am just now thinking about improving my nails. I'll always have them short because of instruments and there's some high danger of damage because of same. But I have people looking at my hands all day every day, (and inevitably commenting on how tiny they are) so it probably would be a good investment to improve them.

Back to work today. I missed my entire morning routine and then still was dragging all day. But lessons went really well, other than forgetting the guitar of the student who just qualified to move on from piano. Whoops. Tomorrow for sure.

Okay! If people are interested, email me, and I will figure out how to make this work!

Maybe include the shades you like and any you have to offer?

Or everyone can send me everything.

Some day I will redistribute.

No, really!

I am Liese, except I think I have a few colors. Anything old was thrown away during the move in October. If you want/need help organizing, let me know.

You are Liese too? I don't know--that might be too much awesome for one person.
