Whoa! I... I think I'm having a thought. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a thought. Now I'm having a plan. Now I'm having a wiggins.

So I'm still a little low on stamina, but am otherwise feeling much better. I hope that doesn't jinx it. I'm thinking the wobbly might be helped by eating something. Haven't done much of that the past few days. Had to run to target for more kleenex and that took way too much out of me...

So my nephew's favorite astronaut is now my deputy director. He's a coworker!

He's got a little shrine in his room: the autographed pictures I got, mission patches, posters of Hubble and the Shuttle. Even after a few years, it hasn't gotten old.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Kat, does it matter if the denim is very worn? Or torn?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, I just realized that I ordered something from Zappos the other day, and they didn't upgrade me to free overnight shipping. I wonder why not.

Aurelia, not at all! I'm cutting all the denim into 2 inch strips, then stitching them back together to braid a rug like this: [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I used to tease my Jewish-and-didn't-eat-pork roommate that kosher laws aren't pick'n'choose.

If s/he was Reform, yes they are. Choosing which parts of traditional Jewish law to observe based on what's meaningful to you as an individual is pretty much the core of Reform Judaism.

In Cash's case, it was an honest mistake and so I think a simple apology is all that's necessary. But this:

They obvs don't keep totally kosher

Is completely irrelevant, and not up to a third party to decide.

Cool! I've got some that were too worn to donate anywhere.

Those are the perfect kind, Aurelia. They will get a new life this way.

Oh man. K just got the sick that I had yesterday. I hope Noah doesn't get it.
