It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nubar is amazing. They do duochromes like no one else.

My only advice would be to look for people's swatch images online to get an idea of everything each color will look like on your nails.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am back. And I'm going to watch Dr. Who, dammit. Then sleep. Scant pictures tomorrow.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Welcome back, ita.

I cleaned again today. And yesterday, for that matter.

Ooh! I will check the provocateuse inbox.

It's good to be back. Reconnecting was good, but the circumstances were obviously sad. D would definitely have been there in that group of people, you know? It felt like she'd be coming round the corner at any time. And then there was her son--when I used to live in New Orleans he was a pubescent dork and now he's a husband and father and mourning and disposing of his mother's properties. So sobering.

I'm glad you were able to reconnect, even though the circumstances suck so much.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Nubar! Do the dance of duochromes!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I fell asleep before 9 last night -- I have no explanation, it isn't like it was a strenuous weekend or anything. But then I woke up around 5:30 so I guess it works out.

I called in sick. So not subjecting my brain to any effort. Now back to bed. With kleenex.
