For the record, I do not enjoy having a cold, and wish I could have slept more. And it's snowing again. I was out in the burbs yesterday, and it sure was pretty, and I am still glad I am not responsible for shoveling, etc.

I also had the chance to reconnect with some distant parts of family yesterday, as well as meet some interesting women. I'm having one email me poetry she wrote about Harriet Tubman. And another shyly revealed herself to be a TV writer. I tried to explain my particular breed of fannishness a bit, and how I didn't judge a writer for not getting content to the screen. Meanwhile she was taken aback by how much I knew about her industry and kinda fannish about my job and my sister's too. Which never happens.
Had a beignet with breakfast yesterday morning, and beans and rice at the "repass" after the service. Is that a word? In these few days I'm going to eat as much NO as possible. We drove past 5 Happiness where I think Nora just ate. It was near the funeral home. Couldn't convince anyone to stop there.

Except Clippers are way more popular among a certain hipster subset because Lakers are too establishment, too Jack.
"Repass" is what they printed on the services program, above two hours of "party time". Much question of if it is a word. Bastardisation of "repas" perhaps?
I have to admit I theoretically prefer the Clippers to the Lakers for Kat's reasons, and I was anti-Shaq.
