The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The Sunday feeling is really throwing me as well.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

wow, that is so very dated looking, all of that lycra stuff in that pattern. flashback, numerous lycra tank dresses and a large print floral Betsy Johnson lyrca jacket with ruffles over the hips.

Because books.

The kids asked this morning if it was Sunday. They were terrified they'd be going back to school tomorrow.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I still don't understand who is wearing things like this: [link]

That I can't answer. Because I can't think of ANYONE, not even fashion victim hipsters, who would wear that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe I would have thought it was cute 20+ years ago. But I would have been WRONG.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

In a zero sum universe, I posit that every time Jilli buys Pink and black leg bone socks, a teenager in Japan has to buy blue and white flowered socks.

These two can never meet.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was a picky eater as a kid, and it's tough to get past that if you've had a lot of experiences where adults say food will taste good and it doesn't. (Thank God broccoli and spinach became yummy once I got out of my teens!)

As an adult I'm generally willing to at least try most things once, but smell is usually a very good indicator of whether I'll like it or not. Blue cheese is about the only exception to that that I can think of.

I can barely taste anything. SUCKS. May be getting more take-out thai. Not motivated to cook food. Unless this turns around rapidly, may be missing some work next week.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I just made and ate some AWESOME Saag Paneer. (the part of paneer being played by tofu.) I love that stuff.
