Love Thai Restaurant! We just went up to a neighborhood place and had poutine and I had shrimp and grits. Yum! Last year they had sauerkraut balls for new years. I am partial to Glam 1 there, but you're right. She doesn't need long hair (or any hair) to look beautiful but it doesn't detract from her features either. They're so perfectly balanced.

Janine Turner (Maggie O'Connell on Northern Exposure) looked way more generic and less beautiful with longer hair. I think the same is true of Jean Seberg. Both pretty enough but short hair made them look very striking.

But Natalie's beauty with long or short hair is just a matter of different flavors of gorgeous.

I have an old bottle of champagne that has always been chilled, but is years old. I think I will open it and see if it's still good. If so, a couple of glasses tonight, then mimosas for parade watching tomorrow.

I think some of the worst dresses were there for styling issues, especially patricia arquette. Ditto for the best dresses. The Penelope Cruz dress, as a dress, is just meh. But she's styled beautifully.

She did look like crap. But the dress was least of her worries. Penelope Cruz looked really well put together--she always does. I don't find her pretty, but she's very polished.
