I miss pasta. But it is for the best it remains a rare treat because it does not like me. But I'm really craving a bacony carbonera tonight.

I think my parents still use "your [parent]" when they are talking to me about the other one. But when they sign cards, it's "Mom & Ralph."
I miss pasta.
The holiday has been a carb fest. I've been eating salad for days and still am craving it. Pasta nsm.
I do occasionally call Joe "Sparky" as it irritates him and makes me laugh.
My mother bought a huge thing of spring greens and clementines after I'd been at my brother's for 2 days. Other than xmas dinner, I pretty much ate that the rest of the time there cause I wanted them SO MUCH after lasagna and pasta and potatoes (plus, my brother has a friend who works for Kraft, and as a result, they have a 2 gallon jug of a yummy strawberry balsalmic dressing. So I had to help them make a dent.) They eat a much more starchy and carby diet than I can deal with anymore. It was actually a little bit of a revelation how little carbs and starches I eat normally, in comparison. My system has slowly become more and more tetchy to things like wheat and dairy, and I've somewhat unconsciously been reducing them from my diet. The most bread I usually eat in a day is half a spinach tortilla.
But sometimes? I still want pasta. And cheeeeeeeese.

The causal system might be in reverse, though. The less you eat of those things the less enzymes your body produces to digest them, causing upset when you do eat them: [link] Or so it is claimed.
Chili: on the stove.
Bags: as packed as they can be.
I'm bringing 4 books. Although I expect to receive books for my birthday, I don't want to risk running out of reading material. Also, my suitcase is barely half full, so I have room.
I'm feeling cranky and fretful that I'm forgetting something. Possibly that has something to do with the chili not being in my belly yet.
The dairy was a pretty fast onset and hard to miss, but with the bread...I dunno. I LOVE bread. It wasn't until fairly recently I figured out my need for pepcid is correlated to bread and pasta consumption.
(Sophia - it should be lying)
I call my father Papa but he's "my dad" if I'm describing him to someone else. My mother prefers Mama but sometimes I forget and call her Mom. If I'm feeling silly or childish I call her Mamica, which is a Moldovan thing I picked up. I do not call my father Taticu, the equivalent.
I call KBD Sweetie or Baby generally. He calls me Sweetie or Pretty Girl.
I used to call amyth my fannish life partner. That confused some people. Hell, who knows how many people have assumed we were dating over the years.
t raises hand I thought so at first.
